About Logan & Debra
Who The Heck Is Debra Conrad?
Hi, my name is Debra Conrad and everyone calls me THAT Public Domain Diva!
I was introduced to the idea of Public Domain and it’s uses several years ago. It truly struck a cord with me. At first blush… I just thought about all the great history and genealogy that would become available online. Thank goodness… I wouldn’t be hunting for stuff at the library or in antique shops to use for information.
Then… oh my gosh… then, I started thinking about all the things that could be done with Public Domain material. And… the supply is never ending. Amazing amounts of material have been lost forever because of careless archivers.
Now… we can all be archivers and use Public Domain material to create new and useful products to be released into the world.
Isn’t the internet wonderful?
Follow along as I teach you how to turn Public Domain content into products that sell! You’re going to love how easy it is to turn Copyright free information into your own eBooks!
You’ve been waiting for someone to show you the ropes… and I’ve been around this block a few times. It’s like magic… find, focus and finish your products in record time.
But you have to know where to look. What treasures are waiting for you on eBay, in book stores and on the internet? Follow THAT Public Domain Diva as she searches for long lost treasures that are waiting to be found… and used today!
I am the author of Yuma Mesa Homesteaders 1948 and 1952.
I am not what anyone would categorize as a writer.
I am also not a historian.
I am however someone who loves to see history preserved.
Born and raised in Yuma Arizona, I traveled with my parents every summer on buying trips for their antique business. In retrospect, I think my Dad was trying to learn everything about anything, and meet anyone who might help him learn it. My Dad had an unending curiosity about all things old, mechanical, and usually loud.
In the process of all the trips crisscrossing the western half of North America, I caught a bug. It’s the history bug, or maybe it’s the genealogy bug. It’s the best kind of bug, because there isn’t a cure, and who would want to be cured anyway?
Who The Heck Is Logan Andrew?
Logan Andrew is an online entrepreneur, information publisher, and author that has been using Public Domain material to create outrageously profitable businesses and products for both himself and his coaching students since 2001. With the mind of a marketer and the heart of a teacher, Logan’s greatest joy is being able to share his knowledge and experience with others of like-minded interest.
Logan started selling information products online using eBay in early 1999 and found immediate success before getting shut down in mid 1999 due do pending lawsuits being served by 3 major book publishing companies. Logan found himself in hot water because the information products he was selling were cd’s packed with illegally scanned digital versions of books that he had downloaded from the internet. This is when Logan learned the valuable lesson that just because you can download something from the ‘net doesn’t mean that it is not protected by copyright law.
After cleaning up the sticky legal mess that ensued, Logan found himself without a product to sell. Penniless, but not discouraged, Logan pressed on. After having a taste of what it was like having a hot-selling info product, he knew that there was no turning back. Logan knew that information publishing would be the key to providing the kind of lifestyle that he desired for his family.
Logan started researching the biz, bought as many books on copywriting and direct marketing as he could find and then spent the next two years developing and marketing info products that he primarily sold from small ads in the back of niche market specialty magazines. By the end of the year 2000, his efforts had paid off to the point where he could support his family without having to punch a time clock.
In early 2001, Logan was introduced to a copyright attorney through a mutual friend and a new friendship was born. Through this newly made friendship Logan was introduced to the concept of the public domain….and his head almost exploded. Logan began devouring everything he could find on the subject when he realized the enormous potential that existed.
At the same time Logan was being introduced to the concept of internet marketing through some other contacts he had made. The idea of putting his sales message in front of millions of internet users all over the world instead of just in the back of specialty magazines put stars in his eyes.
That’s when it really started to come together. When Logan realized that information publishing would be the ticket to the kind of lifestyle that he wanted for his family and himself, that he could put together products almost effortlessly using public domain material, and that he could leverage the power of the internet to sell products on a global scale - he never looked back.
Logan has been creating and marketing products to niche markets ever since both online and off. He currently owns and operates 16 websites in various niches, each having varying degrees of success. Some bring in a few hundred dollars a month and some - well, they make his accountant wonder if what he does is legal…
Logan is not an internet marketing “guru” - in fact, many times I have to remind him how to turn his computer on. He’s just a guy that has been lucky enough to have discovered some very cool things, immediately started putting them to work in his business, followed his dreams relentlessly no matter what kind of obstacles were set down before him (and believe me, there have been some doozies!) and has now been blessed with the opportunity to share his passion with others. Now, he’s going to make the most of it.
At home, Logan enjoys fishing, playing tea party with his 2 little girls, listening to rock and roll music, playing guitar, and putting dents in the side of his computer with his size 11 boots.
